Filtura® is the global filtration materials brand of Freudenberg Performance Materials, dedicated to providing high-performance roll goods such as nonwoven air and liquid filter media and support layers. Given the great diversity of available technologies, products can be tailored to meet specific process and application requirements. Typical end-uses include HVAC and cabin air as well as pool and spa filters.

Filtura® PET Pleatable Filter Media

Manufactured using a needle-punching process, the media is available with PTFE membrane lamination, flame-retardant, and antistatic options. It offers high filtration efficiency, low operating resistance, excellent dust release performance, and long service life. Typical applications include general industrial dust collection, lithium battery manufacturing, and steel plant dust removal.

Filtura® PPS Pleatable Filter Media

Made from 100% PPS fibers, this media provides outstanding high-temperature resistance, chemical resistance, hydrolysis resistance, and flame-retardant performance. It can continuously operate at temperatures up to 190°C and is ideal for high-temperature industrial dust collection applications, including lithium battery production and cement plant dust removal.

Filtura® Pool & Spa Filtration Media

Manufactured from high-performance continuous filament fibers, Filtura® Pool & Spa Filtration Media is available with a variety of fiber cross-sections, including trilobal and round fibers, to suit different pool and spa cartridge configurations.

The product offers excellent filtration efficiency, outstanding media rigidity, superior cleanability, and long-term performance stability. These features help improve filter operating efficiency and extend cartridge service life. It is widely used in public and private swimming pools, spa facilities, and water treatment filtration applications. Antimicrobial functionality can be incorporated upon request to meet specific cartridge design requirements.

Filtura® Air Filtration Support Layers

Produced using spunbond technology, Filtura® Air Filtration Support Layers are specifically designed for filter manufacturers, delivering excellent rigidity, pleatability, and structural stability.

Used as a backing and support material for filtration media, they enable efficient processing and reliable manufacturing performance while providing outstanding durability and filtration characteristics. Typical applications include automotive air filtration, industrial filtration, and the production of a wide range of high-performance filter elements.
